Lead Teacher
Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Early Childhood Education Degree or equivalent that meets State of MN Lead Teacher requirements
Primary Job Duties:
• Create, implement, and execute age appropriate lesson plans
• Responsible for primary care of children
• Communicate with parents at pick up/drop off in regards to child/children’s activities and overall daily experience
• Continually assess children in your care for changing needs
Pay is $18/hour for full time, $16/hour for part time, and we have a great benefits package!
Assistant teacher
Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma and Required experience hours or equivalent that meets State of MN Assistant Teacher requirements
Primary Job Duties:
• Collaborate with the lead teacher on lesson plan development
• Execute lesson plans as outlined by Lead Teacher
• Communicate with parents at pick up/drop off in regards to child/children’s activities and overall daily experience
• Continually assess children in your care for changing needs and communicate those changes to the lead teacher
Pay is $15/hour and we have a great benefit package!
Classroom Aide
Qualifications:
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Able to complete training provided by University Nursery School prior to being placed in a classroom
Primary Job Duties:
• Collaborate with the Lead & Assistant teacher on lesson plan development
• Execute lesson plans as outlined by Lead Teacher
• Communicate with parents at pick up/drop off in regards to child/children’s activities and overall daily experience
• Continually assess children in your care for changing needs and communicate those changes to the lead teacher
Pay is $14/hour and we have a great benefit package!

All UNS staff members are expected to work as a team to ensure the safety and education of the children in our care. Staff should also expect to participate in classroom maintenance such as setting up activities, cleaning, and ensuring the room equipment is in good repair. Staff is also expected to maintain a professional public profile as a member of our community.
